Final: Zoo Project

Finally, the last project's DONE! After soo many sleepless nights, luckily it came out quite well. This is an assignment which you have to redesign one of the 5 design (the lower entrance, upper entrance, logo, signage and uniform) of the current Taronga Zoo, Sydney. It's actually an individual work, but I've got an idea of combining 5 friends who are doing different area and make a whole new zoo out of our design.

Below are some pictures of what my group did.

This is my lower entrance. I decided to combine the lower entrance, the sky safari entrance and the ferry wharf into one massive entrance. As the lower entrance is very near to the sea, I made an underwater entrance, where visitors will have to walk downwards into a transparent aquatic tunnel when arrived at the ferry wharf. Here, you can see seals, penguins and others greeting and welcoming you. The huge 'Z' is the pathway to the sky safari (cable car) with the gift shop underneath it. Basically, tt's about it.

This is the group work we did. We actually built a whole new zoo, with new map, new architectures, new logo, new signage system and new uniform. Beside the new 3D map are our individual presentation board, with similar layout as well.

These are the designers behind the project. From left, the VisCom designer - Linh (designed the new logo), architect - me (designed the lower entrance), interior designer - WanYi (designed the signage system) architect - Sam (designed the upper entrance), and fashion designer - Jenny (designed the uniform). We are actually wearing the new uniform Jenny designed, with the new logo Linh designed on it. Anyway, thank you for all the good work~ Its been tiring but wonderful time working together.

Sigh.. Can't believe everything came to an end already. For the next one last week, let's meet up and party.. haha..

Finally got my hand on this new gadget. Still new to it, but so far so good. lol. The only problem might the the finger prints on it. haha..

Word and Image: Organic

Ok.. Here is another project.. Word and Image: Organic. In this assignment, we can only use hand generated texture to create images of animal, which means painting using brush (traditional painting) were not allowed. sigh.

I tried my best not to make this HORNBILL into a CHICKEN.. It does looks like a chicken in some way to me.. dunno why... sigh.. Please tell me it looks like a hornbill!!.. Anyway, I use my fingers to create texture and tone on the horn and beak. As for the fur, took me so long... Its actually a texture of a leave. I havta cut it out individually and paste several layers on top of each other in order to get the dark black colour.

As for typography, we havta make our own display font using san serif/serif font. And that's the display font I made.. sort of.. haha.. I did something to the 'Natural' with correction pen, make it looks more natural.. As for 'Wonders', I quite like it.. :)

So this is my final design for this book cover assignment. I think its a difficult and time consuming project and its not as nice but ITS OVER!! yay...

Colour Project

Finally, I finished making the forever unfinished project. It took me more than 1 week to make it. Although the final design was not as good as what I thought initially, it was still quite successful and satisfying.

Ok.. this is a project called 'Colour'. Basically, you havta make a 10 piece of design representing a certain colour.. and obviously, I chose the colour WHITE. Below are some photos of what I did. Enjoy.

I think I did not too bad :). But I just think that why do I havta make myself so miserable every time doing so many things as most of my classmates are just using photographs to represent their colour. haha. Anyway, I am glad its over.. The FINAL assignments are still waiting for me thou.. sigh

Parents and bro are here for 1 week already. Seeing me doing my model, and when I finished making them, they are going back already... tomorrow... sigh. Anyway, we did a great celebration for our grandparents over here.. I believed they are very happy and enjoyed it as much as I did. Hoping for more gathering like this more often in the future!! Updates + Contrast Assignment

Sashiburi... Sorry for the very LACK of updates. Basically nth much happen during my 1 week of study week break. Before the holidays, I went for a photo shooting session for my uni and got paid $50. haha.. That's quite a good deal actually. Became the model of 2009 haha.. During the holidays, I was sick. So, I did almost nothing. Havta catch up with some work now.. haih.

Anyway, this is another assignment of mine called contrast. You were given 2 opposite phrases and you havta make a design using the meaning of these 2 terms, focusing on the contrast of these 2 words. We actually havta, in fact, MUST make 32 different designs and choose one out of them. Sigh. However, I kinda like this 1 and was quite happy with the final product.

Yesterday I went to watch this movie with my aunt and cuz. It was not too bad. It's actually a musical movie or something like that. I must say the songs in this movie were AWESOME.. haha.. Maybe buying the soundtrack should b a better choice than watching the movie, if you get wad I mean. The movie was really not too bad.. haha

Ok... Maybe that's all for now. I will update soon with more of my assignments when its done. Not so soon, maybe around 2 weeks time.. haha. Looking forward to the arrival of dad, mom and bro.. :)

Hello~

Sashiburi... haaha.. After 3 weeks of rotting at home, doing nth but watching dramas and animes. Did some photoshop thou. And our sem1 results is finally out. I am quite happy with it. It is actually better than I thought. Thank god. haaha.

Thx for all the comments every1. Appreciate it. And yea.. I personally like the pos/neg art too.. and the teacher liked it too.. I got a High Distinction for tt.. haha.. But not for the portrait thou.. only a Credit+. haha.. I guess she has the same taste as me huh. LOL. As for the mask, yea its another Credit+. Although its not wad I expected, but I will try to make my current project better.. For sure!

After a few weeks of classes and studies, I present you all some of my art work. I should say I am not very satisfy with some of it, specially the portrait drawing one, which is my weakness and I don't find it nice.. haaha.. But as long as I get good grades, I am happy. So wish me luck. haaha

1st Visit: Melbourne

Its Easter break.. Holidaying for 1 week.. But loads of assignments to be done this break. So its not really a break. haiz. However, was able to leave out all my work for a 4 days trip to Melbourne. Maybe I should say 2 days trip as 2 other days was taken sitting in the car.. lol

OK. So let my 2MP W850i cam show u my journey. As the pics are all taken by this not very gd hand phone camera, so the quality... ermm.. u know la... lol. ENJOY!

Tadaima!! Its March 2008... and I have successfully ignored my blog for over.. 3 months?! lol... But I am back... finally..

So, how is everyone? Hope that everyone is doing well. I have been quite busy and the WIFI is not very stable, or I should say the Internet is slow as I think I finished the limits by downloading animes. lol. Anyway, I am fine over here. Actually I was not very use to it in the beginning as everything was so different from what I expected before departure. And I thought I will be able to cope with everything when I was on the plane with only friends and not family, but in the end, the first few days, as I said, is tough. But now, after a few days, in fact, few weeks, it's better.

I went straight for registration and enrolment after my arrival and it took me the whole afternoon. The uni is in the city, 15 mins walking distance from the Central Train Station. It will take 40 mins to get there from where I stay thou. The train fare is expensive too, AUD$37 per week. AND, UTS has no campus life. Classes are all over different buildings in the city but it is not very far from each another. Therefore, you will be walking in the city, around shops, and not classes or fields... Its a wierd feeling in da beginning. I have classes from Mon to Fri. The design classes were good but there are loads of projects and assessments to be done as there is no exams. So basically everything you do is counted as your final result. I will do my best!!

Everything over here is very expensive. Luckily I am staying with my aunt, so I actually save quite a lot. Having bread almost every lunch as my lunch break is only 30 mins.. except Thurs, 2 hours. Still, I miss local food. So I might need you all to bring me some local food and stuff if you all are coming. Haha.. Be prepare to bring a bigger bag. haha.

Anyway, gotta do my assignments already. Take care and keep in touch. Will try to upload some pictures of my recent work if able. Love ya all.

Sashiburi!!! Long time no c.. after a whole month of being abandon by me..

Yup, yup.. Was having my final examination now, and tomorrow will be the last paper!! yay. Tt's a good news.. But the bad news is its chemistry paper tomorrow.. haih. Tried to study today in sch.. Did sample papers. Just hope that everything will be alright tomorrow! As for previous papers, Everything was not too bad.. I think I did better than mock and Sem1. lol. Pray!!

Anyway, went to Mensa (fyi, its the best double-storey canteen in TP) for lunch just now. Suddenly found out tt it will be the last time i eat there.. haih.. Friday, which is our graduation ceremony (btw anyone wanna come? I am back!!

Guess wad.. I went to this concert which I think it really worth the money!! haha.. To be honest, I am not a Jacky Cheung fan. In fact, I don't really like him so much.. haha.. But since my cousin and bro is going, I decided to follow..

So the journey begins here.. The 2 of us went back to JB last Thursday and head off to KL the next morning. Skipped Friday class.. lol. Reach there around 1 plus.. Went home to hav a rest and play Wii till my cousins came home. Then we went jogging.. As we r doing so many activities, we were somehow quite late for the concert. We planned to leave around 6 as we thought the concert will start at 8. But we end up leaving the house around 7.15pm. Bukit Jalil Stadium is not very far fr where we stay, Tmn Sri Hartamas.. and during this peak hour, as u all know, we end up stuck on the road, jam... EVERYWHERE!! arghh.. Now, we were really late..

We FINALLY reach the stadium around 8.15pm and quickly met up with my cousin's friends who were already there waiting for us with the tickets. Guess wad, Luckily the show starts at 8.30pm.. haha.. relieved. So, we went in together and sat down according to the seats given.. Not very near to the stage though.. But we thought it was OK as wad really matters in Jacky's concert is the sound/hearing.. not really the vision. lol.

Around 8.45pm, Jacky arrived on the stage and every1 screamed!! As the first few songs were those fast songs in his new album, which I don't really like it.. So I thought I won't enjoy it this time.. But after those fast songs, he sang some very nice songs, some of his unforgettable "oldies", which I knew and able to sing together.. haha.. I then were able to enjoy the concerts together with every1 around me..

After abotu 2 hours plus, the concert seems to come to the end. He left the stage but the fans kept shouting ENCORE.... as usual.. As 2 years b4, when I went for Andy Lau's concert, he did not came out for the encore.. So I thought mayb this time he won't turn out too.. But he did.. Suddenly the stage light flashed.. Then he reappeared and started singing his famous songs.. 11 encore songs!!! And all of them were GREAT!! The whole concert ended after 3 1/2 hours, which was around 12 midnight.. We headed home and I really respect this singing master since then.. lol..

Rush Hour 3. Great?! Not too bad...

At last.. I hav watched Rush Hour 3. It was simply hilarious, specially Chris Tucker. He washa awesome. Haha.

As we didn't manage to catch the movie yesterday night (no more night movie for rush hour), we decided to watch it this morning at 11. It was really "rush hour" for my bro and me this morning thou. We woke up quite late then went out for breakfast at around 9 plus. Then we havta clean the house before we go out. So this made us really quite late.. We rushed to the bus stop and the buses took ages to come.. ||| When we arrived the terminal, we rushed to Tampines Mall and bought the ticket. We thought we were late for the movie but apparently we were not, in fact just in time. LOL.. Simply find a place to sit down as it was quite empty. lol

OK. The movie was not too bad. Funny.. Action.. lol.. But I thought they can make it better. Mayb make it longer to explain everything properly. As there are some part where they skipped some details, specially the ending. They danced and the end.. huh?! ok.. lol... Anyway it's worth it. The behind the scene was funny too.. lol.. Ex: Lee: you r not my bro, Carter: after all these things we've gone through together... Rush Hour 1, Rush Hour 2.. haha.. Gd 1 Carter. lol.

After movie, we went to hav lunch. But I wasn't feeling quite well after breakfast (guess it's the teh-C, haha), so I ate nth and walk around TM before bro went to work. Headed back and here I am, blogging.. lol

OK.. Here is some updates. Few of my cousins and friends came to stay with us in Singapore last Friday. Yea, we gave them a map, called them at 4.30pm and they hav reached City Square, JB, crossing over the custom, so we thought they will like arrived soon. Then we waited and waited, they finally reached at around 7pm +. LOL. Not lost, but jam.

Very hungry, we went to the nearer place for dinner, Crystal Jade, Tampines Mall. lol.. Ermm.. quite ex thou (S$110++) for a set dinner for 6 ppl. But quite gd. Then we went home and rest. Yup, the story ends here. Nooo.. We went out of course, in da midnight. LOL.. I suppose it's my first time going out at 12am. We went to pick up another friend of ours and went to Clark Quey. Katak di bawah tempurung betul... Never know tt there will b so happening. I mean i kno, but I nvr seen it myself. So we walked, enjoying the scenery, the breeze.. Then decided to find a not so crowded place for some drinks. So we found this bar opp the Bank buildings. Not too sure where it was thou. haha.. Then we settled down and ordered something. The band was not bad, but they finished their last song and left just as we sat down.. ||| Before we order, the waiter asked for our ID. So I gave him my Malaysian IC and he took quite some times looking around the card and couldn't find my birthday. So he asked: wad year are u born? I said: 89. He started counting but it just took too long.. My cousin then told him i am 18 but he still kept on counting, like 89, 90, 91, 92... 06, 07.. And finally returned my IC. LOL.. OK.. So we drink and chat and had some fun. Waited for at least about 1 1/2 hours so we can drive back.. Made a detour to Geylang coz they are quite curious bout tt place but we were all sleeping in the car already when we reached there so mayb only the 2 front seated ppl saw wad Geylang's like at night. haha.

The next day, every1 woke up quite late.. around 10am.. lol.. So we went to eat something before we head to Vivo City. Bought a Map so we kno the way.. haha.. But actually Vivo has not many things to c.. It's like Tebrau City, Mayb Tebrau City has more things thou.. lol.. Went to Bugis for Mos Burger before we crossed over JB as my cousin missed Mos burger since our trip to Japan few years ago.. And yea, I think tt's shud b all..

So friends, I kno some of u are having holiday this week. Do visit me here in Singapore if u guys are free.. haha.. I will try to meet u all.. haha... FYI, my holiday is next week.. yay!!

1) Ok.. I ponteng the first few days of sch during kindergarden.. HAHA... I hate going to sch the first few days as I don't really like "new" place.. Then my parents found out as we went out shopping then met up with the principal.. LOL.. Till now, I still won't feel right in a total new place, so the first few days of sch in every new sch, which means first few days of primary, sec and uni, I will be quite down.. haha

2) I was being hit down by my mom during 5 or 6. lol... She was driving in her car and I open the gate.. But I think the car got problem then dunno how I got hit by it.. No injuries, just shocked.. lol

3) I like sharp sharp things.. I like folding papers and touch the sharp sharp place.. haha.. Tts y people often tells me tt I will be murdered by sharp sharp things.. lol

4) I used to love KitKat the one day, I ate so much I threw out everything then now i DONT eat it anymore..

5) My nail got stuck in a blending machine when I was young.. I like the feeling of the roller down the machine and unfortunately my whole finger rolled in and my nail stuck there.. In the end, the machine spoiled, my nail gone.. Now, there is scar.

6) I am lousy at sports.. I am only interested at bowling, badminton... mayb more, I dont kno.

7) I cannot set down my mind on something... I will wanna do this and that or no more later or vice-versa..

8) I am a generalist, not a specialist..

9) I will think wad people thinks about me when I think I did something not good.. Which I think it stress me out sometimes.. Mayb is gd as u will change urself, but I seldom change.. haha..

10) As Ellen wished me to say, I always hav stomochache and headache.. Dunno why... specially since I came here in Singapore..

WOW!!! YES 93.3 张栋梁-王子校园音乐会, 13/08/2007, 6.30pm at Auditorium 1, Temasek Poly. GREAT CONCERT!!

Today, we finished our physics lab quite early as Dr Ven allows us to bring the lab sheet back and do the calculations and hand in on Fri. So we were able to leave early, which is a good thing as we needa go for this concert. Guess wad.. We arrive the Auditorium around 4.30pm and the queue was SOOO long tt it already reached the 2nd floor staircase above the auditorium.. Wada.. And we thought we will be very early and get good seats.. ||| And we sit there for ermm... 2 hours.. haha.. Then went into the auditorium.

The concert actually started late for 10 mins I think. While waiting for Nic to get ready, Pei Fen gave out a lucky prize, which is a Nokia 5700. LOL.. Lucky no. 331 printed on the concert ticket got the phone... Then he finally came out.. Wearing quite casual as u can see fr those low quality pics above. Sorry for tt as it was taken by my phone.. I havta lower down the mega pixel in order to zoon.. so... haiz.. Ok.. His first song, obviously, 王子, then, 陌路, next, 如果, finally, 错了再错. Sad.. only 4 songs.. I think he was a bit sick as he kept on drinking while being interview by Pei Fen. lol.. But his songs, voice... everything... AWESOME... lol.. Worth waiting for 2 hours plus.. lol.. But in the end our encore was unsuccessful as he didn't come back.. lol..

So... wonderful time sure flies... The 1 hour concert ends so fast... The auditorium is once again empty.. The few of us went to hav dinner together after tt and went home...

Never regret going to this concert.. Hope tt more singers and artist will "visit" us at Temasek Poly before I leave.. lol

Good-bye... haiz... didn't manage to get the tickets..

Hmmm.. sad tt we will not b able to hav badminton for the coming 4 weeks!! And I even brought my rackets here ledi.. Its stupid... When I tried to book the badminton court online today, the schedule was fully booked till 13 Sept, not booked by students playing, but some stupid (and funny thou) things, such as:-
1) This week: Changing of lights at the sports complex... ok... Then
2) Next week: Maintenance of lights at the sports complex.. WTH?!
3) Following few weeks: Sports complex is made as the exam hall for TP students!! Wada...
Hello... TP is SO big why will they need the sports complex for exams?! Then wad are the classrooms for? Play badminton?! Mayb we shud do tt.. LOL. Coz its hard for me to finally set my mind tt I wanna exercise at least once a week and now everything just ruin... haha.. (for those who kno me well, I am not really a sports person mar) lol...

Ok.. mayb tts not very sad lar.. haha.. Anyway, Zhang Dong Liang is coming to Temasek Poly!! I dont care how I am going to get the FREE tickets tomorrow at 12 (but I hav comp Lec).. haha.. He will b having his so called "concert" in our auditorium (which is not very big).. lol.. And I tried to get the tickets on Wednesday, bloody TP students 1 person holding a stack of student cards (for ticket exchange).. so I failed... Cannot go... sob sob.. (edited on Singapore National Day 09082007)

Next Tues onwards, our chem tutorial and lec will b taken care by an UNSW Sydney campus lecturer for 2 weeks.. And Mr Tai MH make fun of us today by saying tt he will ditch us after this week.. He said he will not teach us anymore after this week.. And we were really ermm.. I can say shock and depress as after the closure of UNSW Asia, we were afraid tt mayb those lecturers will just ditch us [as we hav changes of teachers for Maths and English( for awhile)]and we dont wanna tt to happened again. Still, he made this kinda jokes.. But luckily it was really just a joke.

Hmmm.. seems tt there is nth much to say d... So I might go hav my lonely dinner now.. (Ellen dont laugh)

Fionna Xie came to my sch today!!

Hoho.. Finally I am back with new post.. lol.. Sorry for the late updates recently.. I might not be able to updates as frequent as usual nowadays as uni life is getting busier and busier..

Ok.. Updates bout this week.. Hmmm.. 1st of all, the 2 Physical Science classes have merged into 1 starting this week. The new timetable is almost the same as the old 1(for PS2), so everything is under control.. lol.
Monday: Jon's birthday, we went to the Top Table(a 5-class restaurant in TP) for lunch and gave him a surprise celebration.
Tuesday: Normal.. >< Wednesday: Funny.. It was Steve's birthday, we all acted as if we don't remember it and brought the cake out at the end of the day, + smashed an egg on him.. protein for his hair.. lol. Thursday: Tiring. 5 of us had badminton after class. Good game, but really tiring. Today!: Maths was canceled as our poor Mr. Lee has diarrhea. Get well soon.. We then went for a library training, so useful!(and the scenery-Bedok Reservoir up at level 9, TP Library is awesome) Fionna Xie came to our sch for the "Hey! Gorgeous!" show. Didn't stay back for the live show though.. haiz..

So.. tt was my week 31.. But we now have so many research to do.. Acad Eng has so many things to do!! Seminar presentation in 3 weeks time. (Good luck to: Stef, Ellen, Steve for the SP next week) Other than tt, we hav a 1000 word long essay to do. Research on energy efficient in future cities. Things are getting harder now.. Try my best ba!! Anyway, Mon no sch as new batch coming in, orientation for them.. lol

The Simpsons

Yesterday was quite fun. It was Mei Shan's birthday and 8 of us went to Cathay for "The Simpsons Movie". Mei Shan bring along her 1-day-old teddy all around Singapore and took pictures of it at several places. Lol.. We were almost late for movie as we left late fr sch as some of them are playing ping pong. ISH.. Waited for about an hour or so... Then we missed the direct bus to town... Wada...

But the movie was not too bad... The purpose of the movie is just to laugh I think. You will simply just laugh alot. And there is some people beside us laugh over things that are not very funny... Tts abit annoying thou.. lol..

I hav been looking forward to this for quite sometimes. A sign language musical "Drama" (I shud say) which were held in KLCC Plenary Theatre on 15 July. It was an awesome performance. I believe that people in KL might hav already seen the news of this performance on Tuesday in da newspaper. (Did it come out in the newspaper?)

KLCC-wonderful ambient, wonderful performance by the 108 sign language performers fr JB, KL, Penang and other places, simple but wonderful decorations, wonderful songs, wonderful choreography... It was almost perfect... Felt so happy for them.

Apart of that, I saw many people who I haven't seen for a long time, Tien Wei "daddy" who was my Leader on the trip to Taiwan Tzu Chi, and many other friends. I think I saw Ting Cheng if I am not mistaken. lol.. Siyi, Jingyi.... Too many.. Its like a reunion and the whole show was simply just great.

Anyway, can't wait for the next performance. Hope tt I will b around to watch it. Good luck to all sign language performers. Did a great job!! C u soon?! lol

Finally, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is out.. ermm.. Shud say it's out for quite some times already, but I only got to watch it yesterday night at 10pm-1230am. LOL..

How shud I say. I think it was not too bad, although my bro said it wasn't very nice. Mayb there were less funny part than all the previous HP, but the action part was not too bad. Harry's godfather, Serius Black died in this episode. And there is this idiotic *asifsheisgreat* lady who became the headmistress for sometimes.. she is damn mean. Don't like her. lol. Felt sorry for Choo Chang and loads more to tell.. It is not easy to squeeze a 700+ pages novel into a 2.30 hours movie. Think it this way and u will feel that this movie is rather impressive.. lol However, compared to the book, the book is still better.. That's for sure as almost all novels are better than the movies, right?!

I don't think I shud say more as some ppl might still haven't watch it. (Or am I very slow ledi??) haha. Anyway, I do find some of the parts funny.. The students (Dombledore's Army) have to shout out their spells while applying them but the "adults" can simply just wave their wands and everything just came out.. lol. And the translation of the spells in chinese are funny.. haha

Meaningful holiday

Holiday, finished..

My 1 week holiday ends yesterday.. Back to Singapore today.. But, I spent my holiday with very meaningful activities.. lol. For ur info, yesterday was Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu-Chi Foundation, JB Jing-Si Hall and Jing-Si cafe Grand Opening ceremony. And because of that, I hav been helping out with some decorations and designing stuff during the whole last week as for preparation for the grand opening. Doing charity indeed felt good.. lol..

I actually didn't plan to go Tzu-Chi everyday this holiday, and was actually planning to catch up with some friends and go for movies... Since SSI Ko-ko day, the only place I went was Tzu-Chi.. lol.. partly because:
1) All my friends are schooling and busy with their acad.
2) I am busy with Tzu-Chi things too
So, all my plans.. BOOM... no more.. But honestly I am glad tt I am able to help out with those things and tried my best to make the place looked more "graceful" I can say, lol.. As after a whole full week of "working", that place became simple and nice with bamboos, as the main deco items. Indeed, its not an easy task, and its tiring too.. All of us actually work together till night time, specially on Thurs and Fri, 11pm. But after all, its worth it.. When you c the final appearance, it felt good.. lol.. It really felt good..

And here it comes, the opening day.. Many Tzu-Chi members fr all over the place, Penang, Batu Pahat, Kelantan, Ipoh, KL, Singapore and others came to visit this new "home" and we took a "family portrait" together before we leave.

Although its a tiring week, but its meaningful, tts for sure. Now that we've got a new cozy home, let the past b past, brighten the future with more care and love towards everything and everyone. 知足，感恩，善解，包容。Its a new leaf for Tzu-Chi JB. Good luck.

SSI Ko-ko Day

After 1 week of stressful exam week, I went back to my sec sch, SSI to meet up with all my old frens on Saturday (30/6), the 2007 Ko-ko day.. I dont really kno how to express my feelings when i got back there and saw all those memories... Nice.. Although I used to dont really like SSI, but its strange that you will actually miss all those things, people, teachers, clubs and society, everything in tt old sch.. lol.. Met up with soooo many friends.. ahhhhh... Good to c them again.

Prepared myself early in da morning and went to Sheau Tian's house to wait for Bryan, the driver.. haha, seriously his driving skills are good, but scary.. lol.. Reached sch around 9, jam, as SAB, our neighbour sch was having their open day at the same time.. Bryan parked his purple car right in front of the sch gate.. lol.. As if we were those VIP.. haha.. Just in time, we managed to see our juniors' foot drill competition performance.. Guess wad, St John is STILL no. 1 in sch.. haha.. Relieve.. haha. As wad Leong said in his blog, most of the time all of us gather at the "chicken stairs" (tangga ayam.. lol) chatting, looked for food, seeking old memories and friends.. Also saw so many people wearing those t-shirts that I designed.. Felt so good.. haha. It was a wonderful time.

Chinese society(CS) was still selling our traditional stuff, bubble tea. Yea, I hav sell it for 5 years and finally dont havta shake the bottle anymore!! lol. Tiring u kno, when it comes to almost 600 hundred cups in just 3-4 hours. haha.. And still CS is the most popular stall among all others. Heard that they sold more cups then last year.. Mayb is a good news.. haha.

After submitting another t-shirt design(SSI swimming club) to the person in charged, its time to say goodbye.. haiz.. Good time is always short. Followed Liyi (a upp 6 friend who lived next, next... next to me..) home..

The Sinful City -- Johor Bahru

Woke up very early today, around 6.30am. lol.. Very tired. Dragged my body and went downstairs. Preparing to go out to hav breakfast with cousins who came fr KL. As they are staying somewhere near town, Perling, the forever JAM place, we havta leave early (although the breakfast was at 8am). lol..

Parents are already outside waiting for me, then we found a pair of old rugged slippers, in front of our doorsteps. 1st we though mayb dad wore the wrong shoes back fr meeting yesterday night, but the shoes he wore to the meeting were there too.. So, the 2nd thoughts came to mind was, theft. We quickly open our shoe shelf, 4 PAIRS of expensive shoes (2 pairs of Nike, 1 pair of Camel - 1 WEEK old, 1 pair of Reebok) were gone. Total lost, roughly RM800. My precious limited edition Nike, GONE... FOREVER.. and somemore i washed it myself yesterday, changed a pair of new shoe laces... Sad.. Which also mean tt stupid slippers belongs to tt idiot..

Mayb we r in the wrong too.. Shouldn't hav left those expensive shoes outside.. But, honestly, I really think tt this is not a safe place anymore.. Open the newspaper everyday, 8 out of 10 news are robbery, rape... Don't they feel sorry or sinful doing things like tt.. NO.. They are just a bunch of BIMBO* "kampung" idiots... Disappointed. But what keeps our police busy?! wow.. they are really busy man.. busy standing in front of the traffic lights, ask for money.. Disappointed again.. Tt's why, we don't feel safa anymore, especially in Johor Bahru..

Mayb is really time for us to set up some alarm system as this is no more a trustworthy society.. Wake up ppl.. go back how we used to b.. A peaceful, harmony society...

No doubt, I didn't manage to do well in my mock.
(1) Didn't revise fully, not prepared enough..

But still, I am glad tt some of them I actually did quite well.. which means I only havta concentrate more on those topics which I am poor at it..

Got back Eng and physics.. Eng was ok.. but Physics was.... dont wanna talk bout it.. and dont ask bout it too.. Getting back computing tomorrow, which I am kinda looking forward to it as I think I did well in my practical.. And chem.. which I think I will just die.. Why?!

(2) weak as its the next day of the illness.. lol.
And somehow I feel tt the chem teacher obviously was not happy with my result. During chem lab today, he was always picking on me lar.. I kno I did bad, but I didn't wish to do so too wad.. The thing he said tt made me real pissed off was: Jon, I think u choose the wrong partner.. Wada... do he havta insult me like tt.. But honestly mayb I am in the wrong 1st as I disappointed him?! So mayb this made us fair?!

I am seriously thinking tt do I really wanna do this? Especially after this exam... 'This' as in doing this physical science foundation, which might not b any useful in the area of my study (architecture or so) in the future.. or shud I just withdraw and go Syd and restart on design foundation?! The things tt hold me back are the friends here and the time wasted... And I heard tt the design foundation was not easy too.. lol

Illness...

Yesterday was awful... Yup. I hav computing exam yesterday, which I think I did quite well.. hehe.. But I was so ill... Since early morning yesterday..

Same as Jiani, Jiachang... Who also hav stomachache few weeks ago...I think.. lol.. Mayb is a virus spreading thru net to bloggers... or ppl to with "J" in their name.. lol... (But for me, stomachache is normal ledi, as I always hav stomach probs since young...) But no choice, I havta go to take my exam.. (as tts my only confident and scoring subject) lol... Went to toilet several times, even in the campus.. (people really know me will kno tt I dont like "doing business" in sch) haiz... Bought lunch, but din finish... Sad, wasting food... Evil.. (if Lucy's there, she will starts: how can u waste food, look at the African people, they.....) I dint mean to, seriously... But I was quite lucky coz during tt 1 hour computing practical exam, I was fine.. lol...

Went home after that.. take out my maths, started studying... HP rang, my bro sms me saying he will b having company dinner, so I will havta eat myself... Decided to cook some porridge as I am not feeling well... Never thought that after dinner it will be worst... Is not stomachache, is 胃 got problem... Vomited almost everything out... feeling cold and weak.. haiz.. Never feel so unwell for a long time ledi.. Din do much questions eventually, then went to bed... at around 9!! lol..

Decided to go c doctor today.. If is serious... Feeling abit dizzy.. haiz... Couldn't take the maths trail paper.. Why.. Its always at these wrong timing.. Anyway, gotta study chem, if I can..

Mock Exam

This very morning.. Not very welcoming morning... Couldn't sleep well last night... haiz..

As I said in my previous post, before my sem 1 exam, I will be having my mock exam, which is starting TODAY.. Not very worry about today's paper, still, afraid of anyway. haiz.. As for tomorrow's, died.. Seriously, I really don't understand some of the topics in physics.. I think the only sub tt I am quite well in is the computing pracs.. lol.. But, i didn't do well in last week's practice.. Probably being affected by the news of the closure of my uni..

Yea.. No doubt that this news really WILL affect our studies, and RESULTS as it came in such a bad timing. So, the uni has decided to postpone our sem 1 exam a week later, which makes it to the 25th June.. This is helpful thou. Hope that every1 will be able to concentrate on studies in these few weeks time.

Ok.. gtg.. Gotta prepare some stuff and head out to campus.. Wish me luck.. God bless...

Hmmm.. every1 seems to start blogging.. In order to keep in touch with you all, I think this is a good way.. Welcome to JL-Initial...

Let me destress. Recently many things just aren't right... 1st of all, exam is just around da corner. and I really need to catch up with quite a lot of studies.(TT) Then a very shocking news, the sch i am currently studying in, UNSW Asia school is closing down... shud say the Uni has closed down.. which means we are not able to take our degree here anymore... Wad the hell was going on?!! At this bad timing... Frustrated... But still, I needa try my best to concentrate on studies 1st as I cant even focus these few days...haiz...

Last Tues, we had a conference with the sch. The compensation they come out with, is just a miserable air ticket to Sydney. and tts all... although its already a bonus for me, as I hav decided to go Syd next year even if the sch is not closing, still, I think that this is really not enough if we compare with the previous batches.. They received about 22k 4 years scholarship (for the undergraduates), as for the last batch of foundation studies student, they received 15k-19k for a year as compensation. And us?! A pathetic eco air ticket.. This is just not fair...

Anyhow, I will havta go Sydney next year.. Aus... Welcome me with open arms...
